This is a quick post with some photo collages of past pictures of the beaches I frequent on the East coast of Florida.
Location: Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna Beach, backwater islands of the ICW near Edgewater and Oak Hill.

We vacationed at a house on the waterway one year and although the house was not to our liking, the location was perfect. The sunrise photo was taken there.
The building clouds mean thunderstorms in summer and if they come near enough we have to get off the beach.

You really have some stunning beaches in Florida. The sky looks amazing over the sea. Love the drama of storms, but you’re right, the beach is not the place to watch lightning. I hope you have a sunny festive season like we are Down Under.

I agree with you about the sky. The clouds here can build and become so huge. It’s an amazing planet. Have a wonderful holiday season!
